In only a 90 minute micro-training exercise, CBRNEU in partnership with Firehouse Training & SYGNAL Software Detection Systems will provide cutting-edge, practical hazardous materials and CBRNE training in a live, scenario-based and table-top online environment, with the use of downloadable cloud-based hazmat training software.
CBRNE University Micro-Learning Bi-Monthly training events offer a low-cost, effective and advanced hands-on scenario-based platform for those professionals currently working in the fire services, the spill response industry or those looking for a career in the Fire & Emergency Services. Firehouse Training & SYGNAL Software Detection Systems will provide cutting-edge software application support and live instruction during our Hazmat specific, bi-monthly e-learning evolutions. We have had the opportunity to run live virtual simulations in the areas of highway hazmat emergencies, chlorine response & CO2 carbon dioxide leak mitigation, just to name a few.
This specialized hazardous materials training simulation will include a “Call of the Month” where we break down the following tactics during a live scenario:
- Scene Safety & Control
- Identification of the Problem
- Emergency Service Risk Assessments
- Personal Protective Equipment Selection
- Research & Response Objectives
- Hazard Detection Tactics & Strategies
- Incident Action Plans and Emergency Management
Each CBRNE University student will receive a Certificate of Attendance, while all training content is based on NFPA 1072: Standard for Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Professional Qualifications and industry best practices. We have had Hazmat Team members join us from the State of Florida, Washington, Mississauga, Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario.
